What beauty products are you currently obsessed with?
As the founder of VIOLET GREY, I’ve always been obsessed with curating for the customer. As a customer, I’m obsessed with quality and investing in myself. I only want and use products that improve my experience and quality of life. I know I’ve got a world-class routine because I only have the best products and I am using them in the way that they are meant to be used for optimal results. I label everything and I only have in my beauty cabinet what I use in my routine. I don’t keep anything around that is taking up space and messing with my queen vibe. I constantly upgrade when something new is invented that is better than what I was previously using. I expect more from my products. I want smart beauty. In the way I’ve come to expect my phone to do a lot more than make phone calls, I expect my cream or shampoo to do a lot more than moisturize or cleanse.

I love that beauty products and techniques can actually help you feel more confident in your skin.
How do you define beauty?
Universal. One could argue beauty is art and is in everything worth doing.
Where do you find beauty in your everyday world?
I consider everything that I bring into the environments I have control over — my home, my studio, my car, in the way I travel. I am most relaxed when there is beauty wherever my eye goes, whether it’s in a chair or a bowl of fruit or perhaps a soap dish.
